Salt of the Earth 社会中坚，高尚的人 本季度part2人物类类话题中描述你喜欢待在一起的人，假如这个人是你的好朋友，我们可以用到这个短语。你可以说: 题卡:“Why do you like spending time with her/him?” “She is a salt of the Earth type and always helps out when she can.” Curiosity killed the cat好奇心害死猫 这个谚语的字面意思为好奇心害死猫。这意味着指好奇心要有一定的限度，否则就会非常危险。在不想让别人问太多问题的情况下可以这么回答，比如： “When she asked him where he was going at the middle of the night, he replied that curiosity killed the cat"
